2026 brought the return of Queen City Metalfest. This festival showcases some of the best metal, deathcore, and hardcore bands the Queen City (aka Charlotte) has to offer. We were absolutely stoked to catch Queen City Metalfest during their triumphant return. The fest brought 7 of our favorite bands to The Underground in Charlotte, NC. It was a busy Saturday night as always in Charlotte, but these bands brought out a huge crowd and everyone had a blast!! Check out some live pics from the bands that night including Blaakhol, Reflect//Refine, Death of a Tyrant, Deathbloom, Witchpit, Blackwater Drowning and of course the night’s headliners, Filth.
