Raven Drum Foundation (RDF) – the organization founded by legendary drummer Rick Allen of Def Leppard and singer-songwriter / healing arts practitioner Lauren Monroe – has partnered with Chateau Diana Winery to support First Responders, Veterans, and trauma survivors. By integrating advocacy, storytelling, music, and arts programs and events, Raven Drum Foundation brings the tools and experiences of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) to support and inspire mental health, resiliency, and unity.

Chateau Diana owner and president, Corey Manning, is a drummer who has learned to use his music to process PTSD and grief since tragically losing his brother to suicide in 1999 and his family home in the Tubbs Fire of 2017. After being introduced to RDF by Styx drummer Todd Sucherman, Manning – and his business partner/sister, Dawn Manning – worked to create a special line of wines featuring artwork by Allen and Monroe, and based on three of Monroe’s heartfelt songs, with a portion of the proceeds donated to RDF.

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, Chateau Diana will welcome Monroe and her band, including Allen, for a concert at their Healdsburg, CA Winery. Complimentary wine will be served, and attendees will have the opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction.

The day preceding the public performance, the Winery will host a Healing Drum Circle led by Monroe with support from special guest drummers Allen, Sucherman, Alvin Taylor, and Wally Ingram. Limited packages are available, allowing concert-goers also to attend the Drum Circle, which is otherwise by invitation only.

For over 20 years, Raven Drum Foundation (RDF) has striven to serve, educate, and empower trauma survivors and communities in crisis, with a focus on Veterans and First Responders. In recent years, Raven Drum Foundation has increased its fundraising and awareness-building efforts with both online and in-person events. For the past three years, the annual 12 Drummers Drumming auction has presented a collection of one-of-a-kind memorabilia and experiences donated by superstars including Taylor Swift, Nikki Sixx, Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Hanson, STYX, and many more. In 2023, Allen and Monroe hosted several events, including one at Matt Sorum’s GoodNoise Studio in Palm Springs, CA, and the multi-day Mountain Rhythm Reset in Jackson Hole, WY.

March of 2024 brings Raven Drum Foundation’s first benefit concerts on the East Coast, with a pair of shows in Boston, MA and New York, NY on March 13 and 14, respectively. After the events at Chateau Diana Winery, Allen and Monroe will travel to Santa Cruz, CA for An Evening of Music, Insights & Healing at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Presented by Monroe’s production company, Big Love Benefit Concerts, the event will raise funds for Northern California First Responder Trauma Recovery.
