On April 7th, 2024, the Coastal Credit Union Music Park was opening their concert season with possibly the show of the year already, Sessanta. A birthday celebration for Maynard James Keenan. Three epic bands, one stage, and plenty of hits. Oh, who were the bands you ask? Just A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, and Primus! What a night it was! There were three acts involved with the bands, with each act the bands covered the hits and also played a few songs that haven’t been played live at all or it’s been a while since they have played them. And this wasn’t just a concert, but an amazing experience to be a part of. What I love is there are no phones out during the show till the very last song, so everyone is in tune together as the music is played. It’s truly an experience. Also, typical of any show Maynard is a part of. If you have the chance to catch this show, I highly recommend it! I really don’t think there will be another show that gives the experience this show does. The only thing I wish was different is that we (photographers) only had the last song to try and capture the experience that is this concert. Other than that, it was the best show of the year. Not sure how it’s going to be beat! But…I’ll keep going to concerts to see who comes close!
