Tulsa, Oklahoma duo The Ivy has taken the indie-pop scene by storm since 2017 with three highly praised EP’s. The synth pop band is comprised of singer/songwriter/guitarist Wyatt Clem and songwriter/synth player/bassist Shawn Abhari influences range from indie-rock, r&b and the blues.

The Ivy’s new song “Be Like You,” debuting today (11/15), is a follow-up to their single “Street Dog,” which was released last month. The theme of the song explores the trials and tribulations of the social media era and the quest for authenticity with lyrics, “I never know what’s real and what’s pretend.” The song’s 90’s grunge rock sound combined with Clem’s dreamy vocals and Abhari’s alt-rock synths make this track a must add to your playlist.
