“There must always be a beginning and there must always be an end….
But while you are here, it’s about the message you send.”

Canadian Juno Award winner and platinum-selling vocalist Sass Jordan reunites with powerhouse multi-instrumentalist Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne) alongside bassist Michael Devin (Whitesnake) to celebrate the electrifying reissue of Something Unto Nothing – now fully remastered, expanded with bonus tracks, and available now on vinyl for the very first time via Crown X Recordings.

Originally released in 2013, the self-titled debut captured a raw, unfiltered energy that felt both timeless and urgent. Now, remastered at Iguana Studios in Toronto under the direction of Brian Tichy, the album roars back to life with deeper grooves, richer sonics, and an even greater punch.

The project’s roots stretch back to 2010, when Jordan reunited with Tichy – who had previously played on her 1994 album Rats. What began as a reunion quickly reignited into something bigger. The first song written, “Burned,” set the tone: fearless, soulful, unapologetic rock and roll.

Sass reflects:
“Brian and I have a fantastic creative partnership. There’s a constant flow of inspiration when we’re together – songs just pour out.”

She adds:
“Every track on this album holds echoes of the music we grew up loving. It’s all the flavors you recognize – but reimagined into something fresh and alive. We’re not reinventing rock & roll. We’re celebrating it.

Recorded over two intense weeks in a rustic mountain shack in Canyon Country, the spirit of those sessions remains untouched: no trends, no polish-for-polish’s-sake, no digital trickery. Just musicians in a room capturing lightning.

Tichy describes it best:
“For those who like to look life in the face… for those who move at another pace… Real grooves. Real performances. Real rock.”
