“First to take the stage were Sons of Silver, a “neo-classic rock” band hailing from Los Angeles, They put on an incredibly solid performance that was an excellent balance of heaviness and heart” — Musaholic

From raucous rockers and guitar-fueled firepower to thought-provoking lyrics and infectious rock anthems, Sons of Silver is fresh off The Summer Vacation Tour with Dogstar, where they played to capacity crowds. They are now gearing up for the release of their new album, Runaway Emotions, on January 10.  See them performing “Read Em Their Rights” below.

“Omaha Magazine” praised the band’s live performance: “The LA-based band set up the crowd for a night of retro-sounding rock ’n’ roll. Lead guitarist and singer Peter Argyropoulos’s voice is reminiscent of Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, and the lyrics were engaging and hard-hitting.”

On January 17, the band will kick off a 21-city national tour with Myles Kennedy and Tim Montana. Find the full list of dates and tickets at Tour — Sons of Silver.

Sons of Silver consists of vocalist and guitarist Pete Argyropoulos (PeteRG), drummer Marc Slutsky (Splender, Peter Murphy), keyboardist and engineer Brina Kabler, guitarist Kevin Haaland (Skillet), and bassist Adam Kury (Candlebox).

“The evening kicked off with a 30-minute set by Sons of Silver from Los Angeles. Singer/guitarist Peter Argyropoulos was all smiles as they used their opening slot to showcase material from their upcoming release, Runaway Emotions, clearly gaining some new fans in the process,” said The Vinyl District.

In anticipation of their first full-length album, Runaway Emotions, they recently released a new song, “Running Out of Words.” Folk N Rock commented, “Sons of Silver has been on a creative roll lately.” This release followed their singles “Giving It Back,” “Just Getting Started,” and “Tell Me This.” The Big Takeover said, “If you are looking for some foot-on-the-monitor, heads-down, no-nonsense rock and roll, then Sons of Silver should be your general direction of travel.”

Runaway Emotions will be distributed by Universal Music Group’s Bungalo label. The album was self-produced by the band and mixed by renowned producer/engineer Tim Palmer, known for his work with Robert Plant, David Bowie, and U2. Palmer commented, “Their music is fueled with both power and raw emotion, with genuinely profound lyrics. Their album is a treasure trove of well-crafted, memorable songs.”

Runaway Emotions follows their EPs Doomsday Noises (2020) and Ordinary Sex Appeal (2023). Sons of Silver have charted three times on the Billboard Active Rock Chart, and their songs have collectively accumulated over sixteen million views and streams.
