Los Angeles rock band Sons of Silver release their new single and official video, “Fever Run,” on Friday, October 9, the latest track from the band’s forthcoming studio album. Stream “FEVER RUN” HERE. Watch the video below.

Driven by a restless rhythm section, muscular guitars and a widescreen chorus built to be played loud, “Fever Run” channels frustration, conflict and uncertainty into forward motion. Tightly wound verses open into a release that feels both defiant and hopeful. It’s Sons of Silver in full stride: raw, urgent, melodic rock with tension, grit, and a pulse that never lets up.

“‘Fever Run’ is probably our most ambitious rocker to date. Credit Kevin for bringing the riff to the band and credit the band for a killer musical bed to sing over. Likewise, credit Billy Idol for the breakdown idea,” says singer/guitarist Peter Argyropoulos. “The breakdown was originally written and recorded as a third verse. But when it came time to finish the lyrics, I was out of ideas for a third verse. That’s when I happened to hear Billy Idol’s ‘Rebel Yell.’ Such a classic. I pitched the idea of reassembling the third verse into a breakdown à la ‘Rebel Yell’ to the band. Everyone was into it. So, we sliced and diced the original recording a bit, extending and layering upon the original drums and bass. Marc added a brilliant roto-tom performance and Kevin a few textural hooks. Yet, I was still stumped on lyrics for the section. That’s when Kevin offhandedly suggested the lyric, ‘so whatcha wanna be, I wanna be free’ as an idea to get me rolling. It resonated, and it stuck. We were done.”

Guitarist Kevin Haaland adds, “Fever Run is a great example of what Sons Of Silver is all about, musically, for me.  Melody-based rock ‘n’ roll, big riffs, hooks and, most of all, a soaring chorus.   All rooted in melodies that hopefully stick with you.”

“Fever Run” follows “Dreaming Dangerous,” the first taste of Sons of Silver’s next chapter, and “Fire Between Us” a powerful rocker built around towering guitars, thunderous rhythms and the band’s cinematic approach to modern rock. Rather than treating each release as a standalone moment, Sons of Silver are building toward their forthcoming album with an ongoing series of new studio tracks, official videos and acoustic interpretations, offering different sides of the songs and the band along the way.

The new album follows Sons of Silver’s acclaimed 2025 full-length debut, Runaway Emotions. New Noise Magazine praised its “multiplexity of soaring vocals, alternative rock, and riffs. Every song pours emotion and energy.” The band further established its live presence in 2025 with the release of 7 Cities 7 Songs, a live EP recorded during their Art of Letting Go Tour with Myles Kennedy and Tim Montana.  Early on in their journey, they released two acclaimed EPs, Doomsday Noises (2020), which placed three songs on the Billboard Active Rock chart, and Ordinary Sex Appeal (2022).

Sons of Silver are Peter Argyropoulos (PeteRG) on Vocals/Guitar, Adam Kury (Candlebox) on Bass, Kevin Haaland (Skillet) on Guitar, Marc Slutsky (Splender, Peter Murphy) on Drums, and Brina Kabler on Keyboards/Engineering. With additional new music and 2027 touring plans taking shape, Sons of Silver are entering the next phase of their career by expanding their cinematic take on rock ’n’ roll.
