Sumo Cyco don’t take the job of being an opener lightly. The band definitely knows how to go for the throat and set the bar high. While currently out on the road with Jinjer, it’s just more of the same for the female fronted  Hamilton/Toronto, Canada  band. They delivered a solid set at their recent show in Greenville, South Carolina and quickly converted those who were saying “Sumo who?” before the show into fans.  This was our first time seeing the band live and while lead vocalist Sever definitely knows how to command a crowd, there are three bad-ass dudes that provide a killer soundtrack for her to lays vocals over. We’ve even bigger fans now after seeing them live because we all know that’s definitely where a band proofs itself. Our photographer Daphne McKinney snapped these awesome shots of the band!
