The Tedeschi Trucks Band’s “Wheels of Soul Tour” rolled into Raleigh, North Carolina to the Coastal Credit Union Music Park on July 21. The show dodged a thunderstorm early in the evening that actually cooled the temps in Raleigh tremendously. That really made it comfortable for all who attended instead of sweating off a few pounds in 100+ heat index temps. Earlier in the day, we were informed that unfortunately the iconic Los Lobos would not be performing on this stop of the tour. Tedeschi Trucks’ keyboardist Gabe Dixon has a three piece band and they opened up the show. The Tedeschi Trucks’ show was broken into two sets with the second set featuring quite a few cover songs.
