Live music and touring have been on lockdown and fans as well as artists are going through withdrawals. We wanted to come up with something fun to help bridge that distance between fans and artists right now. What we came up with is something called The Lockdown Lowdown and it’s a Q&A session with fun questions for artists to answer. They’re not your typical interview questions, so it gives you a peek inside of the artists themselves. We’re big music nerds here at I’m Music Magazine and we love learning things like this about the artists that we love. We’re pretty sure that you’ll get a kick out of these, so we hope you’ll take the time to read them. In this installment, we sat down for a fun Q&A session with Swedish rock band, Pressure.
1. How have you been doing during the pandemic and how are you spending your time?
We have been working on our sound and live show. Also been finalizing our upcoming album! So we have tried to keep busy even through these hard times. Being in a Story Metal band is about writing music about what happens around you and what different people experiences. I am sure many of the stories around us during these hard times will reflect in upcoming songs.
2. Have you been working on new music?
Yeah, we are releasing a new single on the 19th of February. The name is “What You See” and it’s a energetic Story Metal song about daring to be yourself even when society or other people tries to force you into being someone you are not. Being strong in yourself is always the best choice for you even if it is hard sometimes. Don’t take the easy way out, just be yourself!

6. Life on the road; 5 of the craziest/funniest/scariest tour stories
Fun question. Well on the road there is always fun and strange things happening. Here is a couple of examples
* We were playing in the middle of nowhere and at soundcheck we realized that we forgot a couple of batteries to a sender and for an effect pedal. We didn’t realize that we hade to go for a 30 minute drive just to buy a couple of batteries. We made it back to the show but it was barely
* We were playing in this really, really small restaurant, and we had to setup in the same aisle as the waiters used to serve food and drink. We actually stood in a single file playing!
* We were out on a show and were really having a loud and good rock show, but the club had only license to have live music until midnight. At 00:30 the police showed up to break up the show, we started playing Breaking the Law until they cut the power
* We once got to a show where they were building the stage as we came there so we didn’t have the time to soundcheck! Really cool gig though!
* A cool fact is that we always sings sold Punk songs after our gigs, very loud in the van home. Always refreshing!
7. 5 favorite movies
I love to watch new movies but I do not have so many favorites. I love a good thriller, a sci-fi, fantasy, drama or crime!
8. Best and worst advice you ever heard.
* Best – be yourself and believe in what you do. The reward will come if you hang in there long enough
* Worst – It doesn’t hurt the guitar if you bring it to the Sauna!
9. Strangest thing you ever autographed
Hehe, you really wanna know that?
10. If music was over today and you had to go into professional wrestling, what would your wrestling
name be?
LoudWhisperer DoomDragon!
