Live music and touring are on lockdown right now and fans as well as artists are going through withdrawals. We wanted to come up with something fun to help bridge that distance between fans and artists right now. What we came up with is something called The Lockdown Lowdown and it’s a Q&A session with fun questions for artists to answer. They’re not your typical interview questions, so it gives you a peek inside of the artists themselves. We’re big music nerds here at I’m Music Magazine and we love learning things like this about the artists that we love. We’re pretty sure that you’ll get a kick out of these, so we hope you’ll take the time to read them. In this installment, we spoke with Ralph Buso of Ravenscroft!
How have you been doing during the pandemic and how are you spending your time?
Ralph Buso/Ravenscroft: Doing alright, not gonna lie these are very weird times and very difficult to get used to. However, I have been working out more, and spending more time with my wife. So, that’s a plus!
Have you been working on new music?
Yes, I have been writing and working on some new song ideas. I love the creative side of music!

Pretty Hate Machine (NIN), The Sickness (Disturbed), Ten (Pearl Jam), Nevermind (Nirvana), Superunknown (Soundgarden).

To be honest, I don’t really have any live albums.
Life on the road; what are five of your craziest/funniest/scariest tour stories?
I fell off the stage during a show once (That was embarrassing), Some drunk fan got up on stage and tried to sing with me lol, Some drunk girl walked up to me in the middle of a song and grabbed my crotch lol, We got our cars broken into before we even started our set, and all of our gear was stolen (Bad night), Some guy thought I was Danzig and bought me a drink lol.
What are your five favorite movies?
Carlito’s Way, Goodfellas, Rocky III, Predator, Aliens.
Best and worst advice you ever heard.
(Best) “Never bring a knife to a gun fight” lol! (Worst) “Deny, Deny, Deny” lol!
