The Warning rolled into Raleigh, NC on Tuesday July 15 on their Keep me Fed Tour to a packed-out enthusiastic crowd in the Ritz Raleigh.

The Warning released their latest offering, Keep Me Fed in June of 2024, and rolled into Raleigh for- according to lead singer and guitarist Dani Villarreal Vélez for the first time!

The band got a thunderous welcome as the capacity crowd loudly welcomed the band as they took the darkened stage as the tension and anticipation steadily increased.  Finally they kicked off with “Six Feet Deep” from the Keep Me Fed release and it was on from there. The Warning definitely kept Raleigh fed throughout the evening- serving up a smorgasbord of fresh material such as “S!ck”,”Hell You Call a Dream” and “Automatic Sun.”  While also going into the fridge and pulling out some well seasoned dishes from the past such as “Money” and “Choke” from their 2022 release, Error. For dessert, The Warning served up and encore of Narcisisista and Automatic Sun.

Opening the show was Speed of Light, serving as a robust appetizer serving a helping of tight riffs and powerhouse vocals that effectively warmed up the Raleigh patrons.

The ravenous Raleigh diners couldn’t get enough.  They cried out for more and The Warning served it up.

Literally!

They cranked out “More” from Keep me Fed as the crowd danced and bobbed and sang along.

Daniella (Dani) Villarreal Vélez was equally and well backed up by her sisters/bandmates Paulina (Pau) Villarreal Vélez on drums and a powerhouse vocalist herself, as well as Alejandra Villarreal Vélez (Ale) anchoring the bottom end rumble on bass guitar while bringing it with the background vocals as well.  Together, they form a very cohesive, tight unit. Each band member demonstrated seasoned proficiency on their instruments as well as their vocals, commanding respect from fans and colleagues alike.
To conclude, definitely a 5-star review as our masterful chefs served us up a delectable dish of fine rock n roll cuisine guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding of consumers.
