On November 8th, nostalgia hit an all-time high as Three Doors Down brought their powerhouse set to Bridgestone Arena on the Summer of ’99 tour. Sharing the bill with fellow rock titans Creed, the night was a celebration of late-’90s alt-rock glory, with thousands of fans reliving the music that defined a generation. The energy in the arena was electric as Three Doors Down took the stage, opening with the thunderous “Train.” Frontman Brad Arnold’s vocals were as rich and emotive as ever, proving that even after all these years, the band hasn’t lost their touch. Hearing the lead and drum fill in “Kryptonite” had to be a personal highlight of mine as well. The band closed their set with an explosive rendition of “When I’m Gone,” leaving the crowd energized and ready for Creed’s headlining performance. Three Doors Down proved that the spirit of late-’90s rock is alive and well—and judging by the crowd’s reaction, it’s here to stay. Here are some photos taken by Kris Cagle:
