Nashville, TN – July 31, 2026

Train‘s “Drops of Jupiter: 25 Years in the Atmosphere” tour rolled into Ascend Amphitheater on Thursday night, and the packed crowd made it clear that three decades of hits still hit just as hard live as they did on the radio. The night opened with Matt Nathanson, and he wasted no time turning a warm summer evening into a full on singalong. His set was packed with memorable songs from front to back and the perfect way to start the show. Barenaked Ladies followed and leaned hard into everything that made them a staple of 90s alt rock radio. The band also showed their humorous side with a special Nashville rap break and many jokes between songs. By the time Train took the stage, Ascend Amphitheater was full wall to wall, and the band met that energy immediately. They came out swinging with a high energy set built around timeless, career-spanning hits. Songs such as “Drops of Jupiter,” “Hey, Soul Sister,” and even “Meet Virginia” filled the amphitheater.
