Visions of Atlantis are set to wrap up their Pirates Over North America tour tonight in San Diego, CA. We were excited to catch the band live last week when they hit up Ground Zero in Spartanburg, SC. Ground Zero is a small venue that has hosted a variety of artists for many years. When we got there for Visions of Atlantis, there was already a small crowd gathered waiting to get in even before doors opened! Everyone was excited for the show and many fans had driven hours just to see the band live. It would still be a couple of hours before Visions of Atlantis were set to start and everyone hung out having a blast, the venue filled in and there were more than a few pirates among the crowd ready for the show.

Visions of Atlantis hit the stage and went straight into “Master the Hurricane” off their latest album, Pirates. The band would play about a 90 minute set, filled with some fan favorites from past albums and loads of material off of their most recent album. Adding in the music plus banter between members on stage, we all absolutely felt like we’d set sail for the night and it was an epic treat.
