When it comes to glam metal royalty, Vixen continues to prove that their crown isn’t going anywhere. Decades after first lighting up MTV and touring the world, these trailblazers took the stage at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT Saturday night (4/5/25) and proved to everyone why they’re still a force to be reckoned with.

As you walked into the Arena you could feel the energy from the crowd ready for some good old Rock N Roll.  Opening the night for Steven Pearcy, The voice of RATT. From the moment the band launched into their opener, the crowd was hooked. The set kicked off with “Rev It Up,” a blistering reminder of their signature blend of crunchy riffs, melodic hooks, and unapologetic swagger. Lead singer Rosa Laricchiuta brought a fierce energy, commanding the stage—equal parts power and passion.

Guitarist Britt Lightning was an undeniable highlight of the night. Her solos were razor-sharp, and fluid. Bassist Julia Lage and drummer Roxy Petrucci locked in tight, their rhythm section thunderous and driving the set forward with relentless momentum.

The setlist was a well-curated mix of classics and deeper cuts. “How Much Love” had the entire crowd singing along, fists in the air, while “Edge of a Broken Heart” was a perfect song to close out their set.

Beyond the music, the camaraderie between the band members was infectious. Their chemistry, both musical and personal, added a layer of authenticity that made the performance feel intimate even in a packed venue. It wasn’t just a concert, it was a celebration of resilience, sisterhood, and the enduring power of rock.

By the end of “Edge of a Broken Heart” the audience was left breathless and buzzing. Vixen didn’t just show up—they showed out, delivering a set that honored their legacy while confidently carving out their present.

Vixen continues to defy expectations and light up stages with their unmistakable sound and spirit. If you get the chance to see them live, take it. These queens still rule.
