W.A.S.P. made their long awaited return to the U.S. while on their 40 Years Live World Tour. We were beyond stoked to catch Blackie Lawless and W.A.S.P. when the tour rolled into The Fillmore Charlotte back on November 27, 2022. The venue was absolutely packed and there was definitely a frenzy in the crowd waiting for the show to start, which began with an awesome set by Armored Saint. W.A.S.P. wouldn’t hit the stage until around 9:30, but what an incredible sight it was! With lights and skulls and posters and of course Blackie Lawless riding his infamous mic stand. The band began their set with a medley and the crowd didn’t stop singing all night.
