Chapel of Bones in Raleigh, North Carolina hosted a hard hitting evening of seasoned heavy music Saturday night (4/5/25), with Wednesday 13 (listen on Spotify) bring his There’s No Such Thing As Monsters Tour there with Stitched up Heart (listen on Spotify) as well as Dead Rabbitts (listen on Spotify.)
The venue was packed with fans adorning the heavy metal fashion that each band was bringing, as well as the unbridled enthusiasm from the loyal fans from literally every age range, who came out to experience the high-volume energetic delivery from all three bands.
The Dead Rabbitts (lead by esteemed Escape The Fate vocalist Craig Mabbitt) kicked off the evening with rib jolting driving hard riffs with stratospheric, visceral screaming vocals. The band donned rabbit masks on a dark, moody stage, adding to the mystique of the band, intensifying the already impassioned delivery. The performance of “Hellscape” from their new album REDIFINED saw Mixi of Stitched up Heart joining them.
Stitched Up Heart followed, dealing catchy yet ass-kicking riffs and in your face vocal hooks as they interacted with the audience. The energy was reciprocated between band and audience as they volleyed the love back and forth and very high volume. Craig Mabbitt from Dead Rabbitts returned the favor and joined the band for their performance of “To The Wolves.” At one point lead vocalist Mixi even took a brief surf into the crowd, trusting her fans to catch her and keep her elevated (and they didn’t let her down!).
Finally Wednesday 13 closed out the night with an exclamation point. Bringing his die-hard fans together with new fans alike with songs spanning 20 years bringing the decibels to the fans. Again, there was band and audience interacting in their two-way back and forth of singing along and power chants. Wednesday 13 left the audience fully satisfied and wanting more.
Make sure you catch a show near you. You can check out tour dates here.
