Whitechapel recently set out on their full U.S. spring headline tour. The “Hymns in Dissonance Tour” launched on March 18th at the Ritz in Raleigh, NC and will run all the way through April 19th, ending at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA. We were so excited to get to catch this incredible tour on night 1 playing at the Ritz in Raleigh.
Fans were lined up well before doors opened that night and ready to run straight into the pit. It was only a short time before Alluvial would get the show started and more importantly, got everyone in the pit excited about it. They were followed by sets from 200 Stab Wounds and BRAND OF SACRIFICE.
I don’t think this crowd stopped moving all night. It was crazy and absolutely loads of fun. When Whitechapel finally hit the stage, there were already fans crowd surfing to the front just to get a chance for a fist bump with Phil Bozeman even during the first track.
Whitechapel launched straight into “Prisoner 666” when they came out on stage, which was so exciting as it was the first time fans got to hear this track played live. The band played quite a few tracks off their latest album, Hymns in Dissonance, which was just released March 7, 2025 via Metal Blade Records. They also included loads of favorites from previous albums. This was an absolutely successful launch to a great tour!
