Nashville witnessed a night of electrifying performances as Wolfgang Van Halen and Intervals took the stage at Brooklyn Bowl on May 16th. Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen, has carved his own path in the world of music. Mammoth WVH brought forth a blend of hard rock energy and melodic hooks that kept the crowd begging for more. Songs like “Distance” and “Don’t Back Down” really showcased Wolfgang‘s ability to bounce from difference influences and genres. Intervals opened the show, unleashing a sonic onslaught that pushed the boundaries of progressive metal. Led by guitarist Aaron Marshall, Intervals delivered a masterclass in technical proficiency and musical innovation. Intervals seriously blew my mind! I have never seen such a huge smile while playing the cleanest technical metal riffs. Sadly they announced this was their last stop on the tour as Mammoth is headed to Germany to play with Metallica. A full setlist for Mammoth WVH follows the photo gallery.
