Long Island-based punk rock provocateurs Bad Mary are kicking off a new chapter with their brand-new original song and video, “Mouth Fulla Fire.” The track marks the first official taste of the band’s forthcoming album, Stitched, with additional releases and visuals rolling out in the months ahead. Bassist Mike Staub shares, “This song has been brewing for a long time—it took us about a year to write, refine, and record. Sometimes that’s just how it goes. It’s a frustrated, angry reaction to how social media has programmed us and how endless doomscrolling can blind us to the incredible creativity happening all around us. It’s about the texts you dread, the constant barrage of negativity online, and that overwhelming urge to launch a fireball at all of it.”

In addition to Staub, Bad Mary is fronted by powerhouse vocalist Amanda Mac, with Bill Mac (drums) and David Henderson (guitar). Known for their high-energy shows and fearless songs, the band continues to bring a punk rock attitude with emotional grit. “The noise that they make is the sultry sound of low-slung garage rock ‘n’ roll shot through with more pop-aware infectiousness,” said The Big Takeover.

“Since we’re calling the album Stitched, the vibe is that we want it to feel like a stitched-together Frankenstein monster of what Bad Mary does,” says Staub. We’re embracing our punky and emo roots. We recently tested it live and were told it feels like Punk/Emo/Goth Pat Benatar, which I think is pretty cool.”

Bad Mary’s accolades include multiple SiriusXM Underground Garage New Music Spotlight features and several Coolest Song in the World honors. Their catalog spans more than a decade of releases, including Better Days (2014), The Return of Space Girl (2019), Trash & Glamour (2023), Better(er) Days (2024), and a split 7-inch with Mega Infinity titled Mega Bad Disaster Party via Ska Punk International. The band’s most recent release, Live on Long Island (2025), is accompanied by a full-concert performance video now streaming on YouTube. Hear more from Bad Mary HERE.

“rebellious lyrical content and punchy guitars, bass, and drums, throwing it down punk and alternative style. You can tell Bad Mary enjoys what they do and makes no apologies.” – New Noise Magazine

Bad Mary’s mission remains unchanged: have fun, make noise, and create positive spaces where people can come together through music.
